Michele D. Trolli, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, carries dual responsibility for M&T Bank’s Banking Operations and the oversight of the institution’s Technology functions.
A widely diverse group, her division includes Corporate Services, Central Operations, and Lending Services as well as Alternative Banking. The Technology Division includes centralized application development and support, information security, as well as infrastructure and data center operations
Trolli oversees the operation of both groups ensuring that M&T Bank’s core processing functions and systems are efficient and reliable, meeting the needs of customers while supporting the institution’s enterprise business strategy.
Prior to joining M&T Bank, Trolli held the position of Senior Director with Franklin Resources Inc., a worldwide investment management company. She formerly was an Executive Vice President and Development Director of KeyCorp, where she directed KeyBank’s application development division.
A graduate of John Carroll University, Trolli has more than 30 years experience in banking, investments and technology.
Trolli is a member of the Upstate New York Regional Advisory Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She is a Director-at-Large for the BAI (Bank Administration Institute) and also serves on the Board of the Buffalo Zoological Society.
In September 2007, she assumed a trusteeship position for the Elmwood Franklin School in Buffalo and acts as head of their Technology Committee.
